Meeting with the Godhead daily

How crucial it is to meet with the Godhead daily!

How vital to drink from the fountain of living waters continuously.

In Jeremiah chapter 2, and verse 12 following, we hear God's astonishment at Israel for forsaking something so good as Him, the fountain of living waters. When we understand the geographical context of the middle east, the focus on living waters, and their source become very apparent.

What is it in human beings that we could forsake something so good, so authentic, to go after a counterfeit, or for something that would clearly not satisfy?

God Himself is the fountain of living waters. And He gives Himself to His people through His Word. When we take in the word of GOD through deep meditation upon it, we partake of GOD, the fountain of living waters.

I need to remind myself that it is alright to fail, in His arms.
It is alright not to be perfect, for I am not.
It is alright to be gently honest, I think some call it candor.
It is alright to admit when I don't know, or don't know how.
It is alright to acknowledge that I failed, and thereby covered by His grace.

I also need to remind myself that it is "Christ in me, the hope of glory" - I can hope!
I just need to trust in Him, that He is in control of every single circumstance and situation.
I just need to depend on Him, and learn that dependence from minute to to minute.
I need to be aware that the people around me can be used by Him to minister to me, as much as He expects me to minister to them.

In the face of contrary circumstances, I hold my ground in His promises contained in His word.
I continue to believe Him when all the evidence around me is to the contrary.
I will have faith, instead of fearing.
I will think faith in Him, speak faith in Him, move with faith in Him.

Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His Holy NAME!
