Southern New Hampshire University - HELP's BEST kept SECRET!

I bet many people out there don't know that the HELP Group has one of the best kept secrets in 4+0 programs from the United States. HELP International College of Technology, currently based in Klang, and soon to be relocated to Fraser's Park in Sungei Best, conducts the Southern New Hampshire University's 3 programs under a 4+0 arrangement.

For a price of slightly less than RM50,000.00 ( to be hiked up in 2011 ), students, fresh from Form 5, and with 5 credits, can enter directly into Year 1, or as a Freshman, into the following programs:

a. Bachelor of Science ( majors in International Business, Marketing and Business Administration )
b. Bachelor of Arts Psychology
c. Bachelor of Arts Communications

The first two years form the core of a liberal arts education. The first year can be considered as a foundational period. Students accumulate a total of up to 40 courses, or 120 credits, and get an American degree, sent by SNHU, and fully done through HELP. The program is quite unique in that two of the 40 courses are conducted online. Business students also get the option to do a 4 months internship, or internally known as the "coop" program of up to 12 credits. The advantage is that they end their studies doing this internship, and usually end up working with the same organization they interned with.

Most importantly, SNHU is accredited by the same regional accreditation body which accredits Cornell, MIT, Yale and Boston University. So this is no run of the mill university. This body recognizes the Malaysian centre as an overseas centre of one of its institutions.

SNHU is famous for its business programs. In addition, it is also one of the top 20 universities in the States for Hospitality Management.
