Political Scene
Very disturbing. It seems logic and common sense are inimical with politics in Malaysia. Maybe elsewhere too. People can get blown up, and obvious implications are discarded. It looks like in the quagmire of politics, truth is often a casualty. And the poor man in the street is left struggling whether to believe or not what is printed in the mainstream papers.
The mainstream papers with their intellectuals, have mastered the art of rationalizing every event to their own viewpoint. Truth is relativized, and they call it as they see it. There is a sense of incredulity as the reader reads of facts convoluted to fit the agenda of the powerful.
This discourse is purposely made abstract and conceptual. At this point, I'm still formulating my responses to all's that happening.
Home Scene
No politics here - thank GOD! Just the challenge of raising up a decent family with godly principles. Godly principles, strangely, appear very much like universal principles. Except that for me, it is based on revelation and common sense, and traces its roots to an Intelligent Designer with Personality. Imagine, the atheist has to believe that personality evolved from non-personality! That would take greater faith that a belief in God.
Work Scene
Politics - not very obvious. Glad to have an opportunity to touch lives through what I do. It is a solemn responsibility to be an educator. One which I dare not hold lightly. One for which I need His grace and wisdom at all times.
