Christ was raised for our justification, Paul teaches in Romans chapter 4. How vital is this doctrine of justification? Without it, we have no assurance of sins forgiven, the debt to God's requirements cancelled, our curse from sin broken, our cosmic criminality acquitted.
But we can't live with this truth alone. Justification goes on to provide God's declaration that because of Christ's death and resurrection, in taking upon Himself man's eternal offence against the Eternally Holy God, we are now 'accepted into the Beloved'!
We are now adopted as children of God, with all the rights of children-ship! We are then, given the Holy Spirit to make subjective in our lives, the objective reality of Christ's Person and work of redemption
May we always pray and seek His grace that the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, may grow wider, further, deeper and higher within us, and that the Risen Christ dwelling in us, would then thrust us forth into the world as salters and lighters of the Kingdom, all by the power of His Spirit, the same Spirit which raised Jesus from the dead!
Blessed Resurrection everyone!
