Updates and Commentaries

Hi all,

I just upgraded my home internet connection. We are all in a "Wifi" now! So no more having to wait for one after another to access the 'net. We can all ( 4 of us potentially ) access simultaneously. It was simple and quite painless. I must thank Hafiz of TM Streamyx who came over, and was competent in what he had to do. So right now, Rachel is enjoying her net experience, as am I.

Yesterday, Friday 18th June, I was scheduled to give my business plan presentation to my CEO, Datin Chan Kam Yoke. And I went through my presentation with what was later termed by my CEO, as an "oomph" presentation. However, she was hardly impressed. In fact, she told me to throw out the numbers I submitted as she felt the "oomph" of my presentation did not commensurate with the numbers presented. What a lady! She is such an inspiring person, constantly pushing us and stretching us beyond our comfort zone. Thanks, Datin Chan. I will certainly revise my numbers upward, and challenge myself to aim for greater heights.

Tomorrow I speak at Full Gospel Assembly, Cheras for their Sunday worship service, and also their Father's Day. I am expecting the Lord to move there. After our wonderful church camp from June 6-8 in Peacehaven, Genting, I am so charged up to believe the Lord for "greater things than these" ( John 14:12 ). In fact, Datin Chan's comments got me thinking; maybe I am too conservative and cautious, and perhaps that's why I am not experiencing these "greater things" the Lord has in store for ALL His children.

Well, I am really all geared up from this point to desire these "greater things" the Lord spoke about. In fact, you cannot go through the Judeo-Christian scriptures without coming to a realization that true reality is faith leading to understanding and experiencing. Many times, we receive an idea. Then we mull, or meditate on this idea, and it becomes a strong dream. We can then commit this dream into the Lord's hands, and His words say that He is able to do, exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think ( Eph 3:20 ).

We do not stop here, but we internalize these dreams and ideas, through our mouths, and in our conversations. And finally, we act on these ideas and dreams. Nothing like action, to get us closer to actualizing our dreams. Something Goethe believed in too, not to mention the numerous other great thinkers.

So, my goal is to "Delight myself in the Lord", knowing that as I delight myself in Him, His thoughts become my thoughts, and "HE will give me the desires of my heart", which are actually all His desires ( Psa 37:4 ). What an honor to co-create with the Lord of all the world! What a privilege!

Have a blessed weekend!
Franklin
