And of course ... the World Cup in South Africa

So it seems as though the Argentines, followed by the Brazilians are hot favorites to win the Cup. Or perhaps the other way around in order? But here we are, about to enter the knock-out stage. And every team is going to play to win, even if it means cautiously. So we may be entering the dullest phase of the World Cup. I hope I will be proved wrong. If Brazil and Portugal's game was anything to go by ...

Let's see what happens tonight when the knock-out stage commences. I think the South Koreans and Japanese may go all out, and play like how they've been playing, to their strengths. Then comes the cropper in the England and Germany game. Somehow, I think it's going to go Germany's way, unless Rooney finally pulls out some rabbits out of his magic hat.

So here's to an exciting World Cup weekend. May the best team wins!
