The Silver Bullet!

Najib bit the wrong bullet thinking it silver! Looking at the impasse in the silver state, the only clear, not to mention, "moral" course of action, is to go back to the people. As it stands, both sides of the political divide are probably frustrated with the current reality.

Again, our future PM has proved how shallow his thinking is. He probably did not consult the best constitutional lawyers in the land before he proceeded with the so-called mastermind move in Perak. The possibilities and probabilities would have hurt his mind, I guess. And with each passing day and week, and month, the situation does not seem to be improving in the least. And Najib must be held accountable. I believe until this present moment, he believes he is UMNO's hero for the stunt pulled in the silver state. I fear it is going to boomerang - what goes around comes around.

And then, there is the ex-MB of Selangor. He has really gone to the ground to prove once and for all, how narrow, shallow, racial, insipid, rabble-rousers are the leadership desired by UMNO. Again, I fear that we are moving rapidly towards a "clash of civilizations" ( Huntington ). One civilization which denies sound thinking, and appeals to pure emotionalism of race and religion, and another which, without denying race and religion, is rationale, and willing to disagree, agreeably.

Who will win? May God have mercy upon Malaysia! He is our only hope through times like this. Again, if you are God-fearer, beseech Him for His intervention in our country. Our society is being wrecked by merciless, stupid, ignorant, parochial, racist, manipulative, hypocritical, shallow, narrow, selfish and cowardly individuals masquerading as "leaders"!
