Happenings!

Sat, Feb 7th

Finally! Thanks to two Streamyx/TM personnel ( thanks guys! ) coming over to my house this morning, my streamyx is back in action. The girls are delirious - they finally get to blog after an absence of almost 2-3 weeks. That is ... after the household chores are done ( yep, I hear them sigh! ).

And so, how about the happenings in Perak, our so-called "silver" state? Firstly, if the DPM ever thinks this is a victory for UMBN, then it is proof of his shallow thinking, further reflected in his shallow ( or shall we say, non-existent ) leadership. May I immediately take PR to task too. The moment the two assemblymen of theirs was alleged to have obtained favors of the wrong/ethical type, they should have been dealt with clearly, and firmly. PR lost the moral ground at that point in Perak. And why should we be surprised. PR is sometimes known as "turncoats" of you know which party ...

And then there are the so called DAP leaders, the terrible duo-some! What a display of a lack of humility. I kind of saw it coming when in the early days of the PR gov, the media showed the main man being told something very forcefully by the DAP #1. That scene was most telling.

So what now, the silver state? I can only conjecture that with this act, BN has sealed their fate in Perak. Come the next elections, the opposition's majority will be higher, and I suspect that PAS will have greater representation, unless that is, that the DAP leaders learn the Professional Will must be coupled with Personal Humility ( Collins, Good to Great ).

In the meantime, may I suggest that all these political leaders in Malaysia come for Leadership and Life Skills 101 class!

Have a good weekend y'all!
