Yeah ... the girls were good!

Yup, did not think the day would come when more dreams as parents would be fulfilled. Wasn't it only recently that I myself was a goofy nerdy form 5er in school? And now, it's my very own flesh and blood doing good in a school musical.

My girls, Carissa ( 16 ), and Rachel ( 14 ) really did Jessie and I proud on Saturday, June 28th. Carissa played the part of Eric, the phantom of the opera, and boy did she do an outstanding job! Such passion and energy! And Rachel ... the moment she came on for the masquerade, danced and smiled her way into many hearts I believe.

I know for a fact that they worked really hard to pull off a great show ... wasn't entirely perfect, but then I have pretty high high standards! The whole cast was good, in particular, Carissa & Wei Jean. Michelle cut a dashing figure as the Vicomte Raul. The ballerinas were charming. The teachers ( thanks Amelia! Pn Charanjeet, Pn Manmeet, Ms Goh, Mrs Ng, Pn Judy, and many, many more ) dedicated. Band carried the music through, not to mention Pauleen. So many helped in so many ways.
